Position Summary:

We are seeking a Lead Supply Chain Strategist to enhance our Corporate team. This role is pivotal in driving our supply chain initiatives and ensuring operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement data-driven strategies to align with Idaho Power's supply chain goals.
  • Generate statistical analyses and insights to facilitate informed decision-making in procurement and inventory management.
  • Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to evaluate supply chain efficiency and vendor performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain processes and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Assist in budget preparation and provide comprehensive reporting and analysis.
Qualifications:

Knowledge:
In-depth understanding of Operations/Supply Chain ERP systems and financial databases. Familiarity with reporting applications is preferred.

Skills:
Exceptional communication and conflict resolution abilities. Strong analytical skills with a focus on forecasting and business planning.

Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is required. A Master's in Business Administration (MBA) is preferred.

Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in supply chain analysis or related fields is essential. Preference will be given to candidates with 7 years of experience, particularly in database analysis and project management.

Physical Requirements:

This role involves extended periods of desk work and the use of office equipment. Candidates should be capable of performing tasks that require fine motor skills.
