Job Title: Emerging Middle Market Relationship Manager IV

Fifth Third Bank, National Association is seeking a highly skilled Emerging Middle Market Relationship Manager IV to join our team. As a key member of our commercial banking team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with our largest existing portfolio of companies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a relationship strategy for assigned clients and prospects, leveraging your expertise in credit, commercial products, and financial statement analysis.
  • Build and maintain trusted advisory relationships with senior executives of assigned clients, providing valuable insights and solutions to drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to create and implement a relationship strategy for large, complex clients and prospects, ensuring alignment with the bank's risk appetite.
  • Monitor and analyze client financial performance, condition, and industry trends to determine credit exposure and pricing.
  • Participate in community activities and forums to broaden relationship networks and deepen knowledge of trends, practices, and services.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business (e.g., Business Administration, Finance, Accounting) or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of commercial banking experience, with 9 years of relationship account management experience preferred.
  • Formalized commercial credit training or equivalent credit experience required.
  • Proven track record of partnership with investment bankers to provide strategic and capital market advice.
  • Strong business acumen, including detailed analysis, review of financial statements, and understanding of accounting principles.
