About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Representative to join our team at AssuredPartners. As a Marketing Representative, you will be responsible for marketing insurance accounts by gathering information from Producers and Account Executives, responding to inquiries regarding new accounts, negotiating premiums and terms with insurance carrier underwriters, preparing proposals, and binding coverage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a resource for Producers and Account Executives and assist in executing marketing strategies and objectives.
  • Maintain marketing database including customer/prospect files and make recommendations that influence departmental decisions.
  • Manage a high level of insurance related information in a variety of formats and identify appropriate carriers for unsealed risks in a timely manner.
  • Follow up with insurance carrier underwriters to answer questions and solicit quotes for new business.
  • Negotiate premiums, coverages, terms and conditions for prospective clients and develop proposals.
  • Meet with insurance carrier underwriters and marketing personnel to develop business relationships and determine carrier's interest in various classes of business.
  • Send new business submissions, applications, loss history, etc. to appropriate insurance companies.
  • Regularly work with customers, vendors, and co-workers.
  • Assist in the analysis of lines of coverage and insurance company trends with the intent of maximizing opportunities for new business placement and customer retention.

Requirements
  • Advanced degree from college or technical school; or 2-5 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Tech savvy with ability to navigate multiple systems including Agency Management Software and Microsoft Office products.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office products.
  • Intermediate knowledge of insurance markets.
