Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cook to join our team at Dennys 6994. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality food to our guests in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook food according to established brand standards, recipes, and specifications
  • Maintain proper food temperatures, handling, and storage procedures
  • Rotate perishable stock, maintain cleanliness, and organization of work areas
  • Handle special orders, prepare menu items, and maintain accurate inventory levels
  • Adhere to all safe food handling principles and regulations
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary experience preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic math skills, including understanding of units of measure
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Able to pass all required tests and training requirements for the position
