Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for performing a range of HR duties at a professional level, including recruitment, employee maintenance, employee relations, and employment policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Staffing:
    • Conduct recruitment efforts for exempt and non-exempt personnel, including job postings and new-employee orientations.
    • Coordinate employment testing and background checks.
    • Prepare all required employment documentation.
  • Employee Maintenance:
    • Maintain personnel files in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
    • Keep employee records up-to-date.
    • Administer compensation programs and monitor performance evaluations.
  • Employee Relations:
    • Communicate HR policies, procedures, laws, and regulations to employees and management.
    • Respond to employee relations issues, including complaints, harassment allegations, and civil rights complaints.
  • Employment Policies:
    • Participate in administrative staff meetings and attend other meetings and seminars.
    • Maintain company organization charts and employee directories.
    • Assist in evaluating reports, decisions, and results of the department in relation to established goals.
  • Terminations:
    • Process terminations.
    • Conduct exit interviews, analyze data, and make recommendations to the management team for corrective action and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2-year degree in a related field or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in HR or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when necessary.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and talent management systems.
