Position Overview

This role involves supporting the Human Capital Office by managing various human resources functions and ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.

Eligibility

This position is open to U.S. Citizens and Nationals.

Key Responsibilities

The incumbent will perform the following duties:
  • Address routine inquiries and resolve common issues related to human resources.
  • Process a variety of personnel actions, including those requiring special handling.
  • Assist HR Specialists by executing defined tasks and contributing to projects.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of documentation and compile summaries for further evaluation.
  • Interview individuals to gather relevant information and organize findings.
  • Provide information regarding HR entitlements, processing procedures, and requirements.

Qualifications

While prior federal experience is not mandatory, applicants should possess relevant experience from any sector.

Specialized Experience Requirements

GS-05: One year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-4, which includes knowledge of standard HR procedures and the ability to perform clerical tasks effectively.

GS-06: One year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-5, which includes a comprehensive understanding of HR operations and the ability to support various personnel functions.

GS-07: One year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-6, which includes extensive knowledge of HR policies and the ability to provide guidance and resolve complex issues.

Education

Education may substitute for experience, with a bachelor's degree in any field being acceptable.
