Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented, hands-on, results-driven individual with proven communication skills and a strong work ethic to work in a challenging, fast-paced, energetic environment. As a Repair Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing a single department and/or shift, prioritizing production schedules, and planning and administering procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the ongoing ISO compliant and cost-effective manufacture of specific products or sub-products.
  • Prioritize production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply.
  • Develop and implement procedures to ensure efficient and effective production processes.
  • Work closely with subordinate supervisors, customers, and functional peer group managers to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Assist the Test Engineering Manager to coordinate the activities of a section or department with responsibility for results in terms of costs, methods, and staffing.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a related field.
  • In-depth product manufacturing comprehension, including rationales.
  • Solid working knowledge of regulations (ISO, OSHA, employee relations, etc.).
  • Advanced working knowledge of manufacturing systems.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing costs and influences.
  • Ability to manage through subordinate supervisors, the coordination of the activities of a section or department with responsibility for results in terms of costs, methods, and staffing.
  • Typically manages 2 or more direct reports.
  • Experience in a high-product-throughput environment is a plus.
