Job Opportunity: Foodservice Business Manager
Are you an energetic and results-oriented professional dedicated to enhancing business performance and cultivating robust customer relationships? We are seeking a Foodservice Business Manager to serve as the vital link between our external sales teams, clients, and cross-functional collaborators. If you possess expertise in business process optimization, strategic planning, analytical skills, and effective communication, and thrive in a dynamic environment, this position is tailored for you.
Key Responsibilities:
Business and Process Optimization
Identify and implement enhancements in Profit and Loss Management, Forecasting, and Supply Chain operations. Oversee weekly margin assessments and discuss critical action items with sales teams. Drive customer ideation and private label initiatives. Revise departmental Standard Operating Procedures and manage product initiatives and promotional activities. Address urgent Quality Assurance inquiries and demonstrate proficiency in essential systems (SAP, AFO, BI, CRM, etc.). Discover avenues to enhance profitability and surpass Key Performance Indicators.Strategic Planning, Analysis, and Communication
Own and exceed profitability and volume objectives. Lead Price Foreign Exchange management and validate forecasts for base and promotional volumes. Collaborate with sales on distressed product management and annual budgeting processes. Manage accrual balances and facilitate cross-functional communication for new business alerts and launches. Develop and present customer-specific insights and analytical data.Reporting and Administrative Duties
Create concise plans with Business Development/Account Executives, monitor marketing initiatives, and manage pricing strategies. Supervise new customer onboarding, pricing strategies, and system compliance. Coordinate product samples, manage customer complaints, and execute quarterly reviews and updates.Team Collaboration
Participate in cross-functional meetings and product evaluations. Engage in organizational development and team-building activities.Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 years of experience in analytics, sales, or a related domain. Exceptional interpersonal skills with a strong sense of urgency. Ability to excel both independently and as part of a diverse team.
