Role Overview: Align with the company’s vision while providing strategic oversight, management, and direction across multiple projects. Define project objectives and standards, maintain ongoing communication with key clients, and supervise construction processes, timelines, and financials throughout the project lifecycle. Assume the role of the lead manager for significant projects as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and oversee essential field roles in collaboration with the Safety Coordinator and/or General Superintendent.
  • Develop, adjust, and manage project timelines effectively.
  • Create and manage project budgets following assignment and award notifications.
  • Oversee financial components of contracts, managing payments, equipment rentals, and expenses to protect the company's interests while fostering client relationships.
  • Consistently produce and maintain accurate forecasts.
  • Supervise the procurement process for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
  • Provide detailed estimations based on actual costs to enhance future bidding precision.

Essential Skills:

  • Proven ability to lead projects involving diverse stakeholders, including Owners, Designers, HarperGC Project Teams, and Trade Partners.
  • Competent in making critical decisions as necessary.
  • Flexible and resilient in the face of frequent changes and challenges.
  • Detail-oriented with strong multitasking capabilities to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent listening skills coupled with effective problem-solving abilities.
  • Positive demeanor with a strong capacity to connect and communicate with individuals effectively.
  • Proficient in cultivating relationships with project collaborators and trade partners.
  • Comprehensive understanding of project execution and the ability to communicate project plans effectively across the team.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in Project Management.
  • Expertise in project scheduling, including the management of critical milestones and updates.
  • Skilled in conflict resolution related to design and coordination with various stakeholders.
  • Experience in overseeing building systems to ensure compliance with design specifications.
  • Proven history of promoting a strong safety culture on construction sites.
  • Familiarity with construction processes and effective communication with regulatory bodies.
  • Thorough knowledge of project plans, specifications, and general conditions.
