Role Summary: Uphold the mission of the organization while providing strategic oversight, direction, and leadership across a range of projects. Define project objectives and parameters, maintain open lines of communication with key clients, and manage construction activities, timelines, and financials throughout the project lifecycle. Assume the role of the primary manager for significant projects as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and oversee essential field roles in collaboration with the Safety Coordinator and/or General Superintendent.
  • Develop, adjust, and monitor project timelines.
  • Prepare project budgets upon assignment and award notification.
  • Manage financial elements of contracts, ensuring payment, equipment rental, and expenses are handled to protect the company's interests while fostering client relationships.
  • Consistently generate and maintain accurate forecasts.
  • Supervise the procurement process for labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
  • Provide cost estimations with actual figures to enhance future bidding precision.

Essential Skills:

  • Experienced in leading projects with diverse stakeholders including Owners, Designers, HarperGC Project Teams, and Trade Partners.
  • Competent in making critical decisions as necessary.
  • Flexible and resilient in the face of frequent changes and challenges.
  • Detail-oriented with strong multitasking abilities to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent listening skills coupled with effective problem-solving capabilities.
  • Positive demeanor with the ability to connect and engage with individuals effectively.
  • Proficient in building strong relationships with project collaborators and trade partners.
  • Comprehensive understanding of project execution and the ability to communicate project plans effectively across the team.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in Project Management.
  • Expertise in project scheduling, including the management of critical milestones and updates.
  • Skilled in conflict resolution related to design and coordination with various stakeholders.
  • Experience in overseeing building systems to ensure compliance with design specifications.
  • Proven history of fostering a strong safety culture on construction sites.
  • Familiarity with construction processes and effective communication with regulatory bodies.
  • Thorough understanding of project plans, specifications, and general conditions.
