Senior Analytics Manager

Key Responsibilities:
- Apply cutting-edge data science techniques to address business challenges within the Pharma and Life Sciences sectors.
- Collaborate directly with client stakeholders to convert business challenges into comprehensive analytics solution frameworks.
- Possess knowledge of advanced analytics methodologies and best practices for utilizing data to inform decision-making.
- Utilize advanced analytics to enhance business outcomes, including ROI assessments, digital KPI monitoring, and campaign evaluations.
- Leverage complex datasets to influence business strategies, with hands-on experience in data science techniques (predictive analytics, machine learning, patient-level data triggers) using tools such as R, Python, and Databricks, along with expertise in visualization platforms like Qlik, PowerBI, and Tableau.
- Demonstrate fluency with pharmaceutical data sources including Veeva and IQVIA (Plantrak, LAAD, PE, etc.), as well as real-world data sources like TriNetX, Flatiron, and Optum.
- Exhibit the ability to translate strategic objectives into actionable plans; possess excellent analytical capabilities and the skill to communicate intricate issues in a straightforward manner while orchestrating plans to address challenges and mitigate risks.
- Engage with all levels of management and consult with key business stakeholders.
- Present analytical solutions to business audiences, emphasizing the robustness of the solutions and their potential to generate business value.
- Participate in collaborative discussions with team members to select and implement relevant analytical techniques, generating actionable business insights.
- Responsible for delivering presentations to senior management, communicating findings to business teams, and developing strategies to operationalize analytics solutions.
Qualifications:
- 10-16 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 7 years in data analytics.
- Ability to engage with executive and VP-level stakeholders to translate business challenges into high-level analytics approaches.
- Strong understanding of statistical and machine learning algorithms.
- Proficient project management and team leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate with global teams.
- Strong SQL proficiency and hands-on experience with analytical tools such as R and Python, as well as visualization tools like Qlik or Tableau.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and big data systems such as Hadoop HDFS and Hive is advantageous.
- Ability to collaborate with IT and Data Engineering teams to integrate analytical outputs into business processes.
- A degree in Business Analytics, an MBA, or equivalent professional experience.
