Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize cutting-edge data science applications to address business challenges within the Pharma and Life Sciences sectors.
  • Collaborate directly with client stakeholders to convert business challenges into comprehensive analytics solution frameworks.
  • Possess knowledge of advanced analytics methodologies and best practices for leveraging data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Employ advanced analytics to enhance business value, including ROI assessments, digital KPI monitoring, and campaign evaluations.
  • Utilize complex data to influence business decisions, demonstrating hands-on experience with data science techniques (predictive analytics, machine learning, patient-level data triggers) using R, Python, Databricks, along with proficiency in visualization tools such as Qlik, PowerBI, and Tableau.
  • Demonstrate fluency with pharmaceutical data sources, including Veeva and IQVIA (Plantrak, LAAD, PE, etc.), as well as real-world data sources like TriNetX, Flatiron, and Optum.
  • Exhibit a proven ability to translate strategic initiatives into actionable plans; possess excellent analytical skills and the capacity to communicate complex concepts clearly while orchestrating plans to address issues and mitigate risks.
  • Engage with all levels of management and consult with key business stakeholders effectively.
  • Present analytical solutions to business audiences, emphasizing the robustness of the solutions and their potential to generate business value.
  • Participate in team discussions to select and apply relevant analytical techniques, creating actionable business insights.
  • Responsible for delivering presentations to senior management, communicating results to business teams, and developing strategies to operationalize analytics solutions.

Qualifications:

  • 10-16 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 7 years in data analytics.
  • Ability to engage with executive and VP-level stakeholders to translate business challenges into high-level analytics approaches.
  • Solid understanding of statistical and machine learning algorithms.
  • Strong project management and team leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate with global teams.
  • Proficient in SQL and experienced with analytical tools such as R and Python, as well as visualization tools like Qlik or Tableau.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms and big data systems, such as Hadoop HDFS and Hive, is advantageous.
  • Ability to collaborate with IT and Data Engineering teams to integrate analytical outputs into business processes.
  • Graduate degree in Business Analytics, MBA, or equivalent professional experience.
