Position Overview
This role necessitates a deep understanding of acquisition policies and procedures, information technology, and management strategies.
It involves providing leadership and guidance over multiple complex acquisition initiatives.
Accountable for the comprehensive direction, coordination, and assessment of the Division.

Key Responsibilities
Offers expert financial counsel and supervises inputs utilized for the presentation and justification of the organization's current and future program submissions, budget estimates, IT Budget, and the President's Budget.

Oversees and coordinates the participation of DISA in the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution process, along with strategic planning efforts and financial management services at the organizational level.

Directs and monitors the implementation of the annual operating and capital budgets of the organization.

Provides authoritative interpretations of various DoD and DISA appropriated and/or working capital fund budget and accounting directives, memoranda, and similar documentation concerning the organization's resources.

This national security position may require access to classified information and necessitates a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may lead to termination.

The incumbent is subject to initial and random drug testing.


Qualifications
Time in Grade:
For entry at the GS-15 level, applicants must have served 52 weeks as a GS-14 or higher grade in the Federal Service.

Specialized Experience:

For the GS-15 level, candidates must possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and responsibility to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service, or comparable in difficulty and responsibility to GS-14 if outside the Federal service.

Specialized experience at the GS-15 level is defined as experience in analyzing programmatic requirements and strategic needs to allocate resources (planning, programming, budgeting, and execution) across diverse budgets to deliver Information Technology (IT) capabilities; and experience in overseeing financial systems, directing investment strategies, advising senior leaders, and managing team members on financials, portfolios, or enterprise IT programs.

In addition to meeting the specialized experience requirements, qualified applicants must also demonstrate the quality of experience as it relates to how closely or to what extent an applicant's background, recency of experience, education, and training are relevant to the duties and responsibilities of the announced position.

Candidates must clearly illustrate their competencies necessary to successfully perform the work of the position at the appropriate level to be qualified.

Qualification and time-in-grade requirements must be met within 30 days after the closing date of this announcement.

Education:
No substitution of education for specialized experience at the GS-15 grade level.

Additional Information:
Telework availability will depend on mission requirements and supervisory determination. This position is subject to the completion of a one-year probationary period for assignment to a supervisory role.

Salary will be determined based on the duty location after selection. The salary listed reflects the General Schedule Base scale and will be adjusted to meet the locality pay of the duty location upon selection.
