Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and strategic direction over multiple complex acquisition initiatives.
- Oversee the overall management, coordination, and assessment of the Division's activities.
- Deliver expert financial guidance and manage the preparation and defense of budget submissions, including IT Budget and the President's Budget.
- Direct and facilitate participation in the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process, along with strategic planning and financial management services at the client level.
- Supervise the execution of annual operating and capital budgets.
- Offer authoritative interpretations of various Department of Defense (DoD) and Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) budgetary directives as they pertain to resource management.
Employment Conditions
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- This position may require access to classified information and necessitates a favorable suitability review and security clearance.
- The incumbent will be subject to initial and random drug testing.
Qualifications
- Time in Grade: For entry at the GS-15 level, applicants must have served 52 weeks at the GS-14 level or higher in the Federal Service.
- Specialized Experience:
For the GS-15 level, candidates must possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level in the Federal service, or comparable experience outside the Federal service. This includes:
- Analyzing programmatic requirements and strategic needs for resource allocation across diverse budgets to provide IT capabilities.
- Overseeing financial systems and directing investment strategies while advising senior leadership on financial matters.
- Competencies:
Demonstrated skills in Decision Support, Human Capital Management, and Leadership.
Additional Information
- Telework availability will depend on mission requirements and supervisory discretion.
- This position may require completion of a one-year probationary period for supervisory roles.
- Salary will be determined based on the duty location after selection, reflecting the 2024 General Schedule Base scale.
