Key Responsibilities of the Executive Director include:
- Leading the community and overseeing financial, human resources, and operational management.
- Ensuring adherence to policies and procedures related to resident care.
- Supervising and facilitating all resident services, including coordination with independently contracted health care providers as needed.
- Managing the recruitment, interviewing, hiring, evaluation, and disciplinary processes for community team members.
- Collaborating with the Director of Sales and the sales team to develop and implement marketing strategies aimed at achieving occupancy goals.
- Coordinating maintenance standards for the community, resident units, common areas, and surrounding grounds in accordance with company policies and state regulations.
- Directing all activities in compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as community policies.
- Utilizing provided resources to ensure income and expenses are managed according to annual budget projections.
- A high school diploma is required; college credits or a degree is preferred.
- RHA, LNHA, or HFA credentials are preferred (required in certain states).
- Must meet state experience requirements, including necessary licensure or credentials to operate a senior living community.
- Preferred experience in managing a senior living program or community, with a minimum of three to five years in a leadership role.
