Job Title: Regional Fleet Maintenance Manager

At SpartanNash, we're committed to delivering exceptional results through innovative solutions and a customer-centric approach. As a Regional Fleet Maintenance Manager, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation fleet and building maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage departmental budgets and performance goals in collaboration with the Director of Transportation and department leadership team members.
  • Conduct field surveys to evaluate operations and recommend improvements, ensuring adherence to compliance standards.
  • Communicate effectively with mechanics, addressing concerns and making suggestions for change as necessary.
  • Administer labor contracts, document associate activities, and participate in the associate discipline process as required.
  • Ensure mechanical work schedules align with department maintenance goals and effectively coach, train, and develop associates under your responsibility.
  • Oversee corrective maintenance and repairs, ensuring compliance with documented standards, efficiency, safety, and timeliness.
  • Monitor department Key Performance Indicators (KPI) metrics, making adjustments and recommendations to ensure financial goals are met.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and equipment records.
  • Stay current with the latest logistics technology, maintenance, and asset tracking systems.
