Position Overview:
As a Patient Care Support Specialist, you will be integral in ensuring a seamless experience for our patients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing incoming calls and scheduling appointments efficiently.
- Providing assistance to callers with inquiries and directing calls appropriately.
- Welcoming patients upon arrival and overseeing their wait times.
- Conducting check-in and check-out procedures, including insurance verification and document management.
- Collecting payments and issuing receipts accurately.
- Facilitating the processing of walk-in patients and visitors.
- Maintaining and organizing medical records diligently.
- Ensuring all correspondence is appropriately filed and managing medical records requests.
- Building and sustaining effective relationships with patients and team members.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.
- Preparing the coffee and water station for patient use.
- Assisting in maintaining a tidy break room environment.
- Occasional local travel may be required for meetings or to support other clinic locations.

Qualifications:
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 1 year of data entry experience.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with general office procedures.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft applications.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Experience in a medical office setting.
