Job Summary

MBL Technologies Inc is seeking a skilled Technical Writer/Editor to support our team with technical writing and editing services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical writing, excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compose high-quality technical reference materials, training materials, proposals, and policy documents
  • Document and depict complex project ideas, business requirements, and business process flows
  • Analyze and document technology products, applications, and tools, ensuring their use and functionality can be effectively conveyed to users
  • Coordinate the professional production of written technical materials and ensure quality control over their appearance and timely completion
  • Propose and facilitate meetings to obtain critical documentation needs, and consult with teams on system usage, tools, and templates, and process design
  • Maintain archives of prepared technical documentation

Requirements
  • Advanced writing, interpersonal, and conceptual skills
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management (e.g., interpersonal skills, approachability, effective listening skills, appropriate use of style and language for the audience)
  • Demonstrated expertise and experience with Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to develop, update, and/or maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of laws, regulations, policies, and ethics as they relate to cybersecurity and privacy
  • Knowledge of the organization's information classification program and procedures for information compromise
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity and privacy principles and organizational requirements (relevant to confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication, non-repudiation)
