About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Content Creator and Promotions Specialist to join our team at Mediabistro. As a key member of our Creative Services team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative promotional content across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and produce engaging promotional content for our on-air news product, including topicals, TSRs, and brand/image promotion.
  • Design and produce promotional content for our social and digital platforms, including Instagram stories and other multimedia formats.
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities under deadline, while maintaining a high level of creativity and attention to detail.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in television writing and producing, preferably in a news or promotional capacity.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and After Effects.
  • Proficient in videography and lighting, with the ability to shoot and edit high-quality video content.
  • Demonstrated ability to write compelling, conversational copy that resonates with our target audience.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of social media trends and the ability to adapt content to various platforms.
