Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting
    • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for portfolio companies.
    • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial data to meet organizational and compliance standards.
  • Internal Auditing
    • Support internal audit projects designed to enhance accounting practices and ensure compliance across portfolio companies.
    • Assist accounting teams in identifying areas for improvement and developing corrective action plans.
  • Accounting Systems Implementation
    • Assist in the rollout and implementation of new accounting systems in portfolio companies.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth transitions and full functionality of new systems.
  • GAAP Compliance
    • Work closely with external auditors to ensure that financial reporting aligns with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
    • Address audit findings and help portfolio companies implement required changes to maintain compliance.
  • Training & Development
    • Assist in developing and delivering training programs for portfolio company accounting teams on financial procedures, policies, and newly implemented software.
    • Ensure all teams are aligned with company-wide standards and practices.
  • Additional Responsibilities
    • Based on the selected candidate's experience, additional responsibilities may include leading specific financial projects, managing aspects of budgeting and forecasting, or supporting strategic financial initiatives.
