Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Vendor Management Support Specialist to join our dynamic team at NetApp. As a VMO Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our IT and Global Procurement Services (GPS) organizations to manage contract and vendor support activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage relationships with major suppliers/vendors and ensure positive collaboration between IT, GPS, and vendors.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and address any issues that may arise with vendors.
  • Support the ongoing management of the Software Asset Management ServiceNow modules and software contracts, contributing to the end-to-end software lifecycle.
Requirements
  • Assist in the management of vendor relationships and oversee the execution of IT contracts and renewals.
  • Support the IT Vendor Management team in driving continuous value while mitigating risks.
  • Lead Vendor Management QBRs, surveys, and action items.
  • Help resolve disputes and manage vendor relationships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for efficient vendor onboarding and maintaining strong vendor relationships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on key issues and project milestones.
  • Provide guidance on vendor management processes and best practices.
  • Provide operational support by collaborating with GPS and IT for invoicing processes and addressing operational issues.
  • Drive ongoing process improvements and ever-greening documentation.
  • Aid in the ongoing maintenance of effective license positions for top software vendors and support software asset management.

  • Strategic thinker with strong negotiation, influencing, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of IT support services.
  • Knowledge of software asset management and managing and tracking software contracts.
  • Experience with vendor management tools and processes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in managing multiple projects and priorities.
Compensation

The base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $126,000 and will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package.
