Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate with local vendors to verify meal orders and ensure timely delivery.
- Assist vendors with labeling and organizing meals for distribution.
- Verify and sort all orders before distributing to lunch coordinators.
- Clean and sanitize work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams to resolve any issues or concerns.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure meals are safe and properly handled.
- Ensure the space is clean and left free of trash or company property.
- Complete vendor check-ins to ensure compliance with company protocols.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while representing The Yay Company.
- Previous experience in customer service, food service, or related fields is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work well with diverse groups of people.
- Flexibility to work early morning hours, as scheduling will depend on each individual vendor's needs.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for meal deliveries.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Smart phone and basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- $18.50 per hour.
- Data stipend.
