Position Overview
The Cardiology Division at the University of California, San Francisco is actively seeking a board certified or board eligible Cardiac Electrophysiologist to fill a full-time faculty role.

Essential Qualifications
Applicants must possess board certification in Cardiovascular Disease and be board eligible in Cardiac Electrophysiology. A medical degree (MD, MD/PhD, MBBS/PhD, or MD/MPH) is required.

Preferred Qualifications
A demonstrated history of independent research is highly desirable. Candidates should have substantial experience in executing complex catheter ablations (including atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia) and in the implantation of devices such as pacemakers, defibrillators, and resynchronization therapy systems. Qualification for appointment at the Instructor, Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level is necessary.

Furthermore, a proven research background, evidenced by first or senior authored publications, is essential. Experience with lead extractions for pacemakers and defibrillators is also preferred.

Compensation
The minimum base salary range for this position is $104,800 to $320,100, in accordance with the posted UC salary scales. This role includes participation in the health sciences compensation plan, which may provide eligibility for additional compensation.
