Position Overview

This role involves providing essential technical and support services in the field of diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology (EP). The specialist will be responsible for operating and maintaining advanced electrophysiology equipment, ensuring high-quality patient care that leads to precise diagnosis and treatment of heart conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver patient care in a safe and professional manner across all age groups, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
  • Utilize knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology to assist in diagnostic and interventional procedures.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in recognizing and interpreting ECGs and understanding cardiac pathophysiology.
  • Ensure adherence to radiation safety principles while operating various physiologic monitors, recorders, ablation systems, programmers, pacemakers, and defibrillators.
  • Exhibit problem-solving skills and resourcefulness in troubleshooting instrumentation.
Qualifications

Education:
Completion of an accredited Electrophysiology Technology program is required.

Certifications:
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider) certifications are mandatory. Additional certification in PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) is required for those working with pediatric patients.

Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of recent relevant experience in the field is preferred.

Work Schedule

This position is full-time, with variable days and a typical shift duration of 8 hours.
