Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Product Manager to join our AWS International Product Management and Expansion Strategy team. As a key member of this team, you will play a critical role in shaping the company's global strategic planning and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • International Expansion Strategy: Help lead the effort to define where, when, and how AWS will expand internationally.
  • Business Case Development: Develop business cases, customer segmentation, competitive analysis, pricing analysis, marketing strategy, financial models, and growth strategies.
  • Performance Analysis: Continually assess business performance and customer needs.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Perform analytical tasks consuming managed environments using third-party and/or in-house reporting tools to enable stakeholders to manage region expansion strategy with effective insights and decisions.
  • Regional Strategy Management: Work with regional strategy managers to understand and document business requirements.
  • Business Trend Analysis: Identify causal elements behind business trends and answer complex business questions with statistical techniques/business rigor.
  • Business Modeling: Develop Excel-based models to provide user-friendly interfaces for business stakeholders and provide short- or long-term business projections from business insights.
  • Target Setting: Help senior stakeholders draft aspirational targets and propose concrete metrics to track progress towards targets/course correct as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics, computer science, operations research, business analytics, information systems, or equivalent.
  • Experience: 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology experience.
  • Technical Skills: Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition, scripting languages like Python, Perl, Rust, and experience with AWS services including S3, Redshift, EMR, and Apache Spark.
  • Preferred Qualifications: MBA, experience in using analytical tools like Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight, and experience with advanced Machine Learning and AI tools.
