We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product Management Intern to join our Lead Ads team at TikTok. As a Product Management Intern, you will work closely with our Product Managers to develop and execute a vision for TikTok's performance advertising solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include working with PMs on industry-specific paid lead generation features, driving the design, development, and iteration of advertising and user data-related products, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to define product strategy and lead the go-to-market strategy for owned product areas.
Responsibilities
- Work with PMs on industry-specific paid lead generation features to enhance performance and efficiency of our lead ads products.
- Drive the design, development, and iteration of advertising and user data-related products to help businesses gain better access to their future customers while managing user data in a privacy-safe manner.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical cross-functional stakeholders in the US, EU, and CN/SG to define product strategy, build hypothesis-driven experiment frameworks, evaluate trade-offs and metrics, and lead the go-to-market strategy for owned product areas.
- Use various methods, including surveys, market research, and sales inputs, to identify gaps in current targeting products and transparency within existing product capabilities. Implement improvements accordingly.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a full-time MBA or a related technical field.
- Hands-on product management experience.
- Strong logical and critical thinking skills, utilizing a facts and data-driven approach to problem-solving.
- Highly analytical, with a laser focus on user needs. Proven ability to define a product roadmap in the face of ambiguity and uncertainty. Data and action-oriented, even when limited data is available.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating a scrappy and proactive approach.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Consulting experience in financial services, retail-estate, education, and similar industries.
- Understanding of ad tech, demonstrated by direct experience in building advertising, marketing, or customer management products.
