Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in San Francisco, CA. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will work with students to assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to identify students with speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication goals
  • Provide direct speech therapy services to students in individual or group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' academic and social success
  • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy services provided and student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Provide training and support to teachers and staff on strategies for supporting students with communication disorders

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in California
  • At least one year of recent experience working as a Speech Language Pathologist, preferably in a school setting
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
