We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Pacific Coast Speech Services. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating language and speech disorders in children from birth to 22 years old.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete assessments and evaluations to identify students' level of functioning and ability to communicate.
- Develop treatment plans in coordination with the classroom teacher and other interdisciplinary team members.
- Instruct and consult with interdisciplinary team members, as well as the family/guardians, to generalize skills taught in the school setting.
- Collect data on student progress; document student activities; prepare reports and/or service logs using data management systems.
Requirements:
- California Speech Pathologist license (SLP) or eligible for a CA preliminary RPE license; and/or California Speech-Language Services Credential or eligible for a CA preliminary credential.
- Experience in school-based settings preferred; willing to mentor.
- DOJ/FBI Live Scan Background & TB Clearance required.
- Computer-literate; knowledge of special education computer programs preferred.
- Effective interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Problem-solving ability and proven accuracy with detailed information.
- Proficient written and verbal English language communication skills, including business writing and professional telephone manner.
