Job Summary

The Staff Speech-Language Pathologist works with pediatric patients across the age continuum, providing direct and indirect patient care services. Under general direction, the Speech-Language Pathologist plans and administers a full range of speech therapy services for patients with physical and cognitive impairments.

Services include patient evaluations, establishment of therapeutic intervention goals, and implementation of therapeutic intervention plans. The Speech-Language Pathologist maintains patient records and may supervise support personnel and students.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and administer speech therapy services for pediatric patients
  • Evaluate patients using speech-language pathology tests and measurements
  • Establish therapeutic intervention goals and develop programs

Requirements
  • Masters degree with clinical fellowship
  • Minimum one year of patient care experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to recognize signs of distress
  • Basic computer skills
