Position Overview

As a Permanent Jewelry Consultant, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our customer interactions both in our studio and on the sales floor. Your goal is to weave our permanent jewelry collection into every customer experience, providing personalized service that leaves a lasting impression while effectively communicating our brand's narrative. Your dedication to authenticity and comprehensive knowledge of our products will not only meet but exceed sales expectations, fostering customer loyalty and contributing to our overall success.

This position will report directly to the Store Manager and is initially part-time. Key Responsibilities:
Permanent Jewelry Studio Operations
  • Engage in thorough training sessions focused on the welding of jewelry in various metals, including solid gold and sterling silver.
  • Inform customers about permanent jewelry and the extensive offerings of Ana Luisa.
  • Oversee studio operations, ensuring the cleanliness and organization of welding materials and workstations.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and facilitate smooth guest check-ins through our scheduling platform.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by skillfully welding permanent jewelry onto clients while maintaining a friendly and welcoming attitude.
  • Accurately process customer transactions using the POS system and communicate care guidelines and warranty policies for our permanent jewelry.
  • Gather customer feedback on their studio experiences and relay any product requests for consideration.
  • Actively participate in hosting exclusive permanent jewelry events for our valued clientele.
Sales Performance
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the Ana Luisa brand and product range to assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions.
  • Achieve individual and team sales targets through a customer-focused approach, extensive product knowledge, and authentic selling techniques.
  • Meet and surpass Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as Average Order Value, Units Per Transaction, Conversion Rate, and revenue targets.
  • Utilize company resources, incentives, and strategies to support the achievement of overall store sales goals.
Customer Engagement
  • Build lasting relationships with customers by creating genuine connections and delivering a tailored shopping experience.
  • Collaborate with the store team to cultivate a strong clientele list, enhancing brand loyalty and encouraging repeat business.
  • Participate in store events and corporate initiatives to boost brand visibility and community engagement.
  • Welcome customers into the store, fostering a positive and inviting atmosphere.
  • Assist customers in styling jewelry, offering recommendations that align with their personal style and lifestyle.
  • Work closely with store leadership to collect and implement customer feedback to improve the overall shopping experience.
  • Address customer needs promptly and effectively to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
Operational Excellence & Visual Presentation
  • Process customer transactions accurately, ensuring a seamless experience across all channels.
  • Handle returns, exchanges, and warranty claims efficiently in accordance with company policies.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards by executing brand, product, and marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure the sales floor is organized and visually appealing, with display jewelry presented attractively.
  • Collaborate with leadership on operational matters within the store.
  • Participate in regular inventory counts to maintain high accuracy levels.
  • Ensure compliance with all front and back-of-house procedures as per company policies.
  • Assist in processing shipments, including visual merchandising placement and product replenishment to ensure availability.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Permanent Jewelry/welding required.
  • At least 2 years of retail experience; jewelry experience preferred.
  • Customer-centric mindset.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-performance team environment.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
