Job Overview

Heritage Auctions is seeking a skilled Jewelry Appraiser to join our team. As a key member of our Appraisal Department, you will work closely with clients to provide expert valuations and descriptions of fine jewelry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to determine the value of jewelry items
  • Provide detailed descriptions and valuations of jewelry for clients
  • Collaborate with other specialists to ensure accurate and comprehensive appraisals
  • Assist with research and authentication of jewelry items
  • Proofread appraisal reports to ensure accuracy and quality

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field
  • GG or FGA certification
  • 5+ years of experience as a jewelry appraiser with a current USPAP certificate
  • Membership in a professional appraiser's society or association
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
