Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff to achieve exceptional food quality and presentation.
- Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the needs of our discerning customers.
- Collaborate with our culinary team to create innovative and delicious dishes that exceed customer expectations.
- Ensure that all kitchen operations are running smoothly and efficiently, including food preparation, plating, and presentation.
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Manage kitchen inventory and supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary ingredients and equipment to meet customer demand.
- Develop and implement training programs for kitchen staff to improve their skills and knowledge.
- Work closely with our front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and exceptional customer experience.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent role in a high-volume kitchen.
- Proven track record of leading a team and achieving exceptional results.
- Excellent culinary skills, including menu development, food preparation, and presentation.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Food safety certification and a valid food handlers' card.
- Ability to pass a background check.
