Key Responsibilities:
  • Boating Operations: Manage daily operations related to marine vessel activities, ensuring safe practices are followed. Collaborate with research teams to facilitate their scientific endeavors on the water.
  • Diving Program Oversight: Supervise the scientific diving program, ensuring that all diving operations adhere to established safety guidelines and best practices.
  • Training and Certification: Provide training and certification for individuals operating marine vessels and participating in diving activities, ensuring all personnel are knowledgeable about safety protocols.
  • Safety Compliance: Develop and maintain safety manuals and ensure that all boating and diving activities comply with relevant regulations and standards.
