About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solar Sales Closer to join our team at Venture Solar. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a critical role in driving the adoption of solar energy solutions and achieving your financial goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with management to execute a daily schedule focused on maximizing the number of presentations and closing deals.
  • Close your own referrals and self-generated opportunities generated in Hybrid Opportunities.
  • Engage with 40-70 new prospects per month and aim to close at least 20 opportunities a month.
  • Attend monthly in-person sales meetings and collaborate with Junior Solar Consultants to progress opportunities from Aurora Design to Closed Won.
  • Ensure adherence to the sales process, including app downloads, referral generation, LOI signature (when applicable), and credit checks.
  • Independently generate contracts and oversee the sales lifecycle from appointment set to closed won.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of sales experience required.
  • Expertise & Proficiency in solar design software.
  • In person in our Stamford office 4 days a week.
  • Maintain a closing rate of 35% or higher.
  • Successfully pass the Design Optimization Evaluation.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to continuously learn and adapt.
  • Ability to close deals in a competitive environment.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Target compensation is $230,000+, with a base compensation of $26,000 paid bi-weekly.
  • $0.10 per watt for company leads, scheduled by the company, where the Remote Closer assists with the sale.
  • $0.15 per watt for referrals, company pays the referral fee of $500, $750, or $1,000 depending on the customer's referral tier.
  • $0.30 per watt for self-generated deals.
  • Volume-based bonuses and additional incentives based on performance metrics.
  • 30% commission paid upon NTP, 70% paid at installation.
