Venture Solar is seeking a motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as a Commercial Business Development Associate. As a leading solar installer in the Northeast, we offer an exciting opportunity to grow with us and make a tangible impact in the renewable energy industry.

The Commercial Business Development Associate will play a crucial role in connecting with business decision makers to communicate the value of going solar, learn about their company, and set appointments for the sales team. This role is travel-based, with a focus on the New York Metropolitan Area.

As a part of your training, you'll work closely with your manager to learn and develop methods to engage with customers in a comfortable and confident demeanor. You'll also receive extensive product and industry knowledge to provide you with the tools necessary to communicate value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Qualify solar viable businesses
  • Generate interest for business owners by educating them on the benefits of solar
  • Collect high-level client information to aid in solar proposals
  • Setting appointments with business owners for a solar specialist to meet them
  • Attending office training sessions to learn the details of commercial solar offerings
