Job Summary

BC Tech Pro is seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our clients, ensuring that their technology-based products are functioning properly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to clients, including troubleshooting and repair of PC's, desktops, laptops, tablets, and printers.
  • Client Support: Provide support to client-identified VIPs, responding to their technical needs in a timely and professional manner.
  • Change Management: Respond to change management requests, including installing new PC equipment, providing end-user desk-side support, and other related activities.
  • IMAC Activities: Perform Install/Move/Add or Change (IMAC) activities, ensuring that all technical requirements are met.
  • Desk-Side Support: Perform all assigned desk-side support activities, providing technical assistance and support to clients.
  • Communication: Proactively communicate with clients and service desk personnel regarding arrival times, repair time estimates, and status of the repair.
  • Policy and Procedure: Understand and follow all documented service operations policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Typically requires technical school certification or equivalent of 2-4 years of relevant experience.
  • Certifications and Qualifications: Maintain all required OEM certifications as directed by Management, knowledge of relevant software and hardware systems, understanding of ITIL methodologies, and A+ certification is desired.
  • Skills: Excellence in communication and customer-facing skills, strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills, ability to follow instructions and processes with minimal instruction, ability to lift and/or move various computer equipment up to 50 lbs, and must own a basic repair kit.
