CLINICAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST
JOB SUMMARY:
Under the direct guidance of a physician, the Clinical Support Specialist carries out a range of clinical tasks to aid in the assessment and treatment of patients. This role encompasses various responsibilities that support the operational needs of the hospital and department.
Collaboration with fellow staff members is essential to ensure efficient operations, while also adhering to the hospital's standards for customer service excellence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in patient examinations and treatments under physician supervision.
- Perform clinical duties that align with departmental requirements.
- Engage proactively with team members to foster effective collaboration.
- Deliver services that meet the expectations of the hospital's customer service standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Possession of formal knowledge equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years of college) is required, along with expertise in a specialized field. Candidates should be graduates of an accredited medical assistant program or possess equivalent qualifications. A minimum of less than 1 year of relevant experience is preferred. Certification in CPR from the American Heart Association is mandatory.
