Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement event plans, including food and beverage menus, scheduling shifts, and coordinating setup and service plans.
- Collaborate with the Catering and F&B Managers to create catering proposals and execute BEO directives.
- Maintain regular communication with the Catering & Conference Services Director and other team members to ensure seamless event execution.
- Implement and evaluate office plans, procedures, and processes to improve catering and conference services.
- Participate in coordinating group activities and special requests.
- Create, distribute, and update BEOs in a timely fashion.
- Conduct site tours as needed.
- Support the Director of Catering & Conference Services in ensuring proper communication to departments regarding event details.
- Proficient in Delphi and Opera.
- Minimum two years of experience working in a high-volume hospitality environment.
- Experience creating BEOs, planning events, and working in a supervisory role.
- Ability to work with clients, vendors, and staff to ensure a seamless experience.
- Interface with all staff to troubleshoot and refine areas that need improvement.
- Ability to create schedules and develop floor and service plans.
- Ability to multitask and communicate effectively with all staff in planning and execution of events.
