Key Responsibilities
The Aerial Operations Coordinator will possess comprehensive knowledge of the Theater Air Control System (TACS) and Army Air-Ground System (AAGS) at Joint Task Force (JTF), Corps, and Division levels, along with airspace command and control networks and capabilities.

The Coordinator will leverage the unique capabilities of the Air Component within the U.S. Army Mission Command Training Program (MCTP) series of Warfighter Exercises.

In support of Air Force Instruction (AFI) tasks, the contractor will collaborate with exercise directors, planners from all levels, and exercise controllers.

While stationed in garrison, the Aerial Operations Coordinator may be tasked with leading, assisting, or executing Warfighter pre-exercise planning processes and other mission requirements related to air component replication.

The contractor will represent Det 1 and Air Component/AOC replication at conferences and coordinate on exercise construct issues with joint MCTP exercise planners.

During event execution, the contractor may be positioned forward with the training audience to liaise with the Air Operations Center (AOC), Control and Reporting Center (CRC), Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS), Joint Air Component Coordination Element (JACCE), Air Support Operations Center (ASOC), Joint Air Ground Integration Center (JAGIC), and Tactical Air Control Party (TACP), working closely with the Chief of Air Power (CAP) and Chief Observer Controller (CHOT).

The contractor will receive daily guidance from the acting CAP and Combined Forces Air Component Commander (CFACC) and must be able to articulate command intent.

During the planning phase, the contractor will collaborate with exercise planners to ensure a realistic and accurate presentation and integration of airspace effects contributing to the scenario, as necessary.

The Aerial Operations Coordinator will provide airspace-related oversight, processes, and inputs to the development of exercise objectives for approval at MCTP and training objectives for the training audience.

Additional planning tasks include participation in Initial, Mid, and Final Exercise Planning (IEP, MEP, FEP) conferences and other key meetings to advise and coordinate scenario development.

Execution Responsibilities
During execution, the contractor will advise, communicate, and coordinate with the AOC and 505 CTS to update air component products as needed to integrate airspace effects and ensure adherence to doctrinal procedures.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of experience as an Aerial Operations Coordinator is required.
- 3 years of experience in AOC, CRC, AWACS, or JSTARS is preferred.
- Experience as an operations planner, instructor, or mentor while assigned to an AOC, ASOG, or ASOS is desirable.
- 1 year of experience as a Senior Controller in AWACS/JSTARS or CRC is required.
- 3 years of experience in AOC, ASOC/JAGIC, or TACP as an operations or plans officer is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Pro is required.
- An active Secret Clearance is mandatory; an active Top Secret Clearance is preferred.
