About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented GSE Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Textron Systems. As a GSE Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for scheduling and performing all maintenance of assigned GSE, ensuring that all GSE is calibrated and maintained in accordance with calibration requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform scheduled inspections of toolboxes and ensure that all GSE is calibrated and maintained in accordance with calibration requirements.
  • Request and purchase new tooling as needed, and implement new tooling in a timely manner.
  • Create and maintain inventories of GSE and tooling, and ensure that all GSE is properly organized and cleaned.
  • Perform and/or schedule all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of GSE, and ensure that all GSE is ready for use.
  • Request and purchase new GSE as needed, and implement new GSE in a timely manner.
  • Create and maintain inventories and status sheets for GSE, and provide periodic reports to supervision and management.
  • Assist the maintenance team in all efforts involving GSE, and operate forklifts as necessary.
  • Ensure the safety of the workforce, and support the maintenance team in all efforts.
Requirements
  • Familiarity with basic tools and their functions.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position or job functions.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and coordination skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Experience working in a GSE repair environment.
