A significant emphasis is placed on nurturing contractor relationships and fostering sales growth. The territory primarily encompasses Southern California, focusing on Orange County.

Compensation range: $115,000 - $130,000 plus performance-based incentives

A Day In The Life
  • Oversee a designated territory to ensure the effective, efficient, and economical use of time and company resources to meet sales goals.
  • Engage in sales outreach to distributors and potential users of Hubbell Wiring Device-Kellems products.
  • Educate distributor staff on the promotion and sales of Hubbell products; manage distributor inventory to maintain optimal stock levels and maximize return on investment.
  • Maintain precise account records using TMS/Electronic TMS systems.
  • Facilitate sales training sessions, both internal and external, as directed by field management.
  • Deliver formal sales presentations to various stakeholders, including distributors and end-users, utilizing diverse communication methods such as letters, phone calls, small group meetings, and trade shows.
  • Report to the District Manager regarding any issues, opportunities, successes, and updates on new products.
  • Provide service to distributors and end-users while generating demand for the company's product offerings.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with distributors, end-users, and key influencers.
  • Communicate with the District Manager about new products, modifications, and sales tools.
  • Assist in covering open territories as assigned by the District Manager.
  • Act as a resource for customer inquiries regarding literature, catalogs, technical details, and cross-reference information.

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Ability to serve as a resource for customer inquiries regarding literature, catalogs, technical details, and cross-reference information.
  • Skill in building rapport and strong relationships with distributors, end-users, and key influencers.
  • Effective communication with the District Manager regarding new products, modifications, and sales tools.
  • Willingness to cover open territories as directed by the District Manager.
  • Proficient in computer applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, TEAMS, Salesforce, and SAP Concur Solutions.
  • Exceptional presentation skills.
