Facilities Maintenance Manager

We are seeking a qualified Facilities Maintenance Manager to become a vital part of our Manufacturing Maintenance team. This position is responsible for hands-on repairs, scheduled maintenance, and project management to ensure the effective operation of plant machinery and facilities.

The Facilities Maintenance Manager will supervise and guide technicians to uphold high standards of operational efficiency, contributing to the overall productivity and safety objectives of the organization.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Organize maintenance tasks to reduce downtime and enhance productivity.
  • Assess workload and allocate tasks across all shifts.
  • Lead, train, and support the team in adhering to best practices and regulatory compliance.
  • Implement safety protocols and maintain a tidy work environment.
  • Review employee performance and competencies, providing guidance as necessary.
  • Conduct both scheduled and unscheduled mechanical and electrical diagnostics and repairs.
  • Collaborate on inventory requirements and maintenance planning.
  • Execute emergency repairs and manage routine maintenance schedules.
Qualifications:
  • Education: An Associate's Degree in engineering or a related field, completion of an apprenticeship, or technical training is preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years in a technical role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient computer skills.
  • Expertise: Strong mathematical, mechanical, electrical, and leadership abilities.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, or bend for the majority of the shift and lift up to 50 pounds.

Compensation:

Annual salary range of $65,000 to $75,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Work Schedule:

Full-time position, first shift, with a schedule from Monday to Friday, including one weekend day every three weeks.
