Customer Advocate

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Advocate to join our team at Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits. As a key member of our customer support team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and support.
Key Responsibilities- Navigate customers through the process of submitting orders through our self-service portal
- Answer inquiries regarding customers' accounts and provide timely resolutions
- Process and enter orders, pick-ups, and other customer-related tasks
- Handle calls from our customer service queue and provide support via phone and email
- Process winery direct orders and ensure timely delivery
- Scan and index customer credit files into our imaging system
- Add and remove partners, self-incorporated accounts, and inactive systems
- Identify and resolve outdated, obsolete, and duplicate documents from customer files
- Handle salesperson changes and ensure accurate account information
- Research and resolve returned mail with incorrect addresses
- Handle delivery claims and logs, including shortage claims and miss ships
- Pull faxes and invoices from the printer and distribute them to the appropriate desks
- Communicate with the sales force, customers, and A/R team
- High school diploma or equivalency plus 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and federal regulatory guidelines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including creating pivot tables, developing charts, and complex formulas
