Studco Building Systems is seeking a Production Supervisor for the EZ Concept division. This brand specializes in premium, contemporary architectural finishes. Known for the innovative EzyJamb door jamb systems, EZ Concept offers a growing selection of trim-free architectural finishing products designed to enhance modern interiors across residential, industrial, and commercial sectors.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of 8-10 production workers.
- Provide guidance and support to ensure daily production goals are met.
- Implement plans developed by the Planning/Scheduling team to ensure timely order completion.
- Address production delays and communicate any issues to the production planner.
- Foster a positive team environment to maximize productivity.
- Collaborate with Maintenance to ensure all machinery is operational.
- Conduct daily briefings to clarify workload and expectations for the team.
- Offer constructive feedback to team members to promote continuous improvement.
- Adjust staffing levels based on workload demands.
- Participate in the recruitment process alongside HR to build a high-performing team.
- Facilitate training and onboarding for new employees.
- Conduct performance evaluations bi-annually.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Promote respect for company assets and equipment.
- Provide regular updates to maintain team motivation.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding all business operations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.
- Utilize personal protective equipment as required.
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a related field.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Strong reasoning and analytical skills.
- Basic mathematical abilities.
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
- Fundamental understanding of the construction industry, with experience in millwork being advantageous.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding instructions and correspondence.
- Excellent interpersonal and team-building skills.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
- Effective organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage stress and time effectively.
- Background in architecture, door frames, or construction is a plus.
