Job Description:

The Advanced Process Technology Group has an opening for an engineer to work on the development of Wide-Band-Gap (WBG) and Ultra Wide-Band-Gap (UWBG) electronic devices. The group is responsible for developing Analog Devices' roadmaps for semiconductor processes. The job will focus on the development of next-generation Gallium Nitride and Aluminum Gallium Nitride FET technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute process development experiments in a silicon fab.
  • Develop unit and module process flows, and implement them in the Manufacturing Execution System.
  • Design experiments and execute them to improve device performance.
  • Manage lots both inside and outside of the manufacturing facility.
  • Research and develop next-generation RF and power devices.
  • Characterize and test WBG device reliability.
  • Construct new measurement systems for WBG devices.
  • Interact with internal business units to understand future device needs.
  • Work with manufacturing teams to define manufacturing strategies.
  • Collaborate with business strategists to understand the business impact of new process directions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Material Science.
  • Master's or Ph.D. Degree preferred.
  • Significant experience with Gallium Nitride and/or Aluminum Gallium Nitride device fabrication.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor device physics and fabrication.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
