Position Overview:

The Senior Capture Manager, Director will play a pivotal role in engaging with program leaders, high-level executives, the acquisition sector, and Department of Defense (DoD) clients to identify and shape acquisition prospects that align with the National Security Solutions (NSS) Growth team. Utilize extensive leadership experience and established relationships within the defense sector and government clientele to drive strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead comprehensive capture initiatives from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Facilitate regular strategy sessions with senior management to assess their requirements and connect them with the organization’s offerings.
  • Mentor and support capture team members throughout the capture process and business development efforts.
  • Coordinate extensive proposal initiatives and firm-wide projects, ensuring a measurable impact on business expansion.
  • Maintain a collaborative network across the organization to enhance capture efforts.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Over 10 years of experience managing intricate capture initiatives within the DoD or Intelligence Community.
  • Proven track record as a capture manager supporting DoD clientele.
  • Experience in formulating Cyber solutions tailored for the DoD and Intelligence Community.
  • Expertise in executing all stages of a large-scale, multi-year capture initiative, including strategic planning, shaping, teaming, proposals, and competitive analysis.
  • Strong ability to cultivate and sustain effective internal and external business relationships.
  • Experience in proposal development and writing for various acquisition sizes within the Department of Defense.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with a history of achieving results through indirect management.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary to support client engagements.
  • Possession of a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
  • A Bachelor’s degree is required.

  • Experience collaborating with DoD acquisition centers and key client mission stakeholders.
  • Ability to effectively brief executives and communicate complex information.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and business acumen skills.

Security Clearance:
Applicants selected will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is mandatory.

Compensation Structure
Compensation is determined by various factors, including location, education, skills, and experience. The projected salary range for this position is $181,100.00 to $337,000.00 annually.
