The Senior Capture Manager, Director will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by collaborating with program managers, senior executives, and key stakeholders within the Department of Defense (DoD) community. This position is integral to shaping acquisition strategies that align with the objectives of the NSS Growth team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with senior leadership and the acquisition community to identify and shape acquisition opportunities.
- Utilize extensive relationships within the defense sector to foster business development.
- Conduct regular strategy sessions with senior management to align their needs with organizational capabilities.
- Lead comprehensive capture initiatives from inception to completion, guiding teams through complex processes.
- Mentor capture team members on best practices in business development and capture methodologies.
- Coordinate large-scale proposal efforts and firm-wide initiatives to ensure strategic alignment.
- Maintain a broad network of collaborative relationships across the organization.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience managing complex capture initiatives within the DoD or Intelligence Community.
- Proven track record as a capture manager for DoD clients.
- Expertise in developing Cyber solutions tailored for the DoD and Intelligence Community.
- Experience in executing all phases of large, multi-year capture efforts, including strategic planning and competitive analysis.
- Strong ability to cultivate and maintain effective business relationships with clients and partners.
- Proficient in proposal development and writing for various acquisition sizes within the DoD.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to drive results through indirect teams.
- Willingness to travel to support client engagements.
- Possession of TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
- Bachelor's degree required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with DoD acquisition centers and key mission stakeholders.
- Strong background in executive briefings and presentations.
- Adept at navigating fast-paced, multi-tasking environments.
- Excellent communication skills for conveying complex activities to capture teams.
- Possess strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and business acumen.
Clearance Requirements:
Applicants must be eligible for access to classified information, requiring TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
