Accountable for overseeing the Property Management team and managing a substantial portfolio of properties while acting as the primary liaison for external partnerships.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Direct and coordinate property management operations effectively.


Provide comprehensive leadership in property management through the formulation and execution of policies, ensuring efficient communication and strategic direction.

Guide and mentor the Property Management team, fostering career development opportunities for property management professionals.

Monitor budget discrepancies and facilitate effective recovery strategies.

Supervise the invoicing process, ensuring timely payments and fund distributions.

Collaborate with the Property Manager to oversee cash flow and financial requirements for optimal cash utilization.

Manage the preparation of reports, annual budgets, and other essential documents for property owners in line with management agreements.

Support the timely collection of management fees and reimbursements.

Maintain communication with third-party owners, ensuring compliance with contracts and accurate reporting.

Address tenant relations matters to guarantee satisfaction.

Conduct regular property evaluations with the team.

Oversee construction initiatives alongside the Construction Manager, including approving contracts and invoices.

Ensure adherence to Property Management Policies and Procedures, relevant codes, regulations, and directives from governmental agencies.

IMPORTANT EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.

IMPORTANT EXPERIENCE
5+ years of experience in real estate property management or a related field.

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS
CPM, RPA, or CSM certification.

Possession of a real estate license.

Strong understanding of financial management and property operations.

Demonstrated experience in managing, evaluating, developing, and motivating team members.

Ability to effectively lead a team of professionals, including employees and contractors.

Prior experience in analyzing and negotiating commercial lease agreements and contract terms.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position operates within a professional office setting. Regular use of standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines is expected. Occasional travel between properties in various weather conditions is required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS


The physical demands outlined here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.

While fulfilling the responsibilities of this position, the employee may need to navigate between floors, ascend stairs, and may be required to travel outdoors between buildings in diverse weather conditions.

The employee may also be frequently required to maintain a stationary position (sitting or standing) for approximately 85% of the time and regularly operate office machinery.
