About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled User Experience Researcher to join our team at Capital One. As a key member of our Design team, you will play a critical role in shaping the customer experience through human-centered research and design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to inform intuitive and engaging customer experiences
  • Translate complex ideas into understandable concepts that evolve and enhance the product experience
  • Advocate for the customer through human-centered research methodologies
  • Champion prioritization of design-centered product enhancements grounded in research and analysis
  • Actively teach and mentor designers in research methods
  • Work with partners and teams across various geographies
  • Embrace and advocate for an experience mindset
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience with human subjects research
  • Masters Degree in a social science or related field
  • Experience or familiarity with UX research methods
  • Comfortable working with a variety of business partners and delivering outcomes
