Job Title: Research Faculty

We are seeking a highly motivated and accomplished Research Faculty to join our team at the Massey Cancer Center. As a key member of our research community, you will contribute to the advancement of cancer research and education, while fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct impactful research in translational oncology, immuno-oncology, and drug discovery, including medicinal chemistry and structural biology.
  • Develop and implement innovative research projects, securing extramural funding and publishing high-quality research in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Mentor students and trainees, providing guidance and support in research and academic pursuits.
  • Participate in departmental, college, and university committees, contributing to the development of policies and initiatives that promote excellence in research and education.
  • Engage with colleagues and stakeholders to advance the mission of the Massey Cancer Center and the School of Medicine.
Requirements:
  • PhD, MD, or MD/PhD degree in basic, translational, or clinical sciences.
  • Extensive cancer-related research experience and a proven track record of extramural funding.
  • Strong publication record and experience in mentoring students and trainees.
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive research environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a matrix environment within academic medicine.
  • Proven success in collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.
